49 na pulís Bamban sinibák sa pwesto dahil sa ilegál na POGO
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Apatnapu’t siyam na pulís ng Bamban, Tarlac, ang tinanggál ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa puwesto kasabáy nang pagsasagawâ ang imbestigasyón sa nagíng operasyón ng sinalakay na Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub sa naturang bayan.
Sinabí ng PNP spokesperson na si Col. Jean Fajardo nitóng Martés na ang 49 na pulís ay pansamantaláng itinalagá sa Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit ng Central Luzon Police Regional Office (PRO3).
Pinalitán namán silá ng mga pulís mulâ sa 1st at 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies at sa mga istasyón ng pulisya sa Tarlac City, Concepcion, at Capas.

Matatandaan na una nang inalis sa puwesto ang hepe ng pulisya ng bayan.
Kahapón Lunes, inanunsyo ng Office of the Ombudsman ang pagsuspindí kay Mayor Alice Guo ng Bamban base sa kahilingan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government.
