Higit 236,000 humabol sa deadline ng voter registration
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Nakatanggap na ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng 236,442 voter applications hanggang kahapong Lunes, na huling araw ng pagsusumite ng aplikasyon upang maging rehistradong botante.
Pinakamarami na humabol sa Calabarzon sa bilang na 33,749, kasunod ang 30,686 sa Metro Manila at pangatlo ang Central Luzon sa bilang na 27,196.
Samantala, pinakamababa naman sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) sa bilang na 3,983 applications.

Simula noong ika-12 Pebrero, unang araw ng voter’s registration, umabot sa 6.9 milyong aplikasyon ang tinanggap ng Comelec.
