‘No collection pollcy’ ipinaalala ng DepEd chief sa mga paaralan

METRO MANILA, Philippines — Pinaalalahanan ang Department of Education (DepEd) nitong Martes ang mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan na ipinagbabawal ang anumang koleksiyon ng pera sa mga estudyante.

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, ito ay nakapaloob sa DepEd Memorandum No. 41, s. 2024 —  ang Reiteration of the “No Collection Policy” in Schools.

Sakop aniya nito ang anumang proyekto o pangangailangan ng paaralan.

BASAHIN: Angara binigyang-pugay ng mga senador bilang DepEd chief

Nilinaw ni Angara na hindi saklaw ng kautusan ang membership fee sa Red Cross, Girl Scouts at Boy Scouts, gayundin ang kontribusyon o donasyon sa mga liblib na paaraalan.

Pinaalahanan din ng kalihim ang mga kawani ng kagawaran na bawal ang anumang pangongolekta ng kontribusyon alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2022  — ang Promotion of Professionalism in the Implementation and Delivery of Basic Education and Programs and Services.
