‘No reading, no billing’ sa tubig ibinilin ni Sen. Ralph Recto

Hindi dapat maningil ng bayad sa mga utillities kung hula hula o tantiyahan lang ang gagawin sa pagpapalabas ng billing statement.

Ito ang sinabi ni Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto.

Aniya kung ibabase sa hula ang singil sa konsumo ng tubig tiyak na magagalit ang mga konsyumer.

Diin ng senador ang ‘no reading, no billing’ policy na dapat ang pairalin kapag muling nagkaroon ng lockdown dahil sa second wave o third wave ng COVID-19.

Sakali naman aniya hindi talag makakapagbasa ng mga metro ang mga kompaniya, 50 porsiyento ng tinantiyang konsumo ang maaring masingil sa mga konsyumer ngunit kailangan ito ay aprubado ng gobyerno.

Diin ni Recto dapat ay agad din naaayos ang over billing para sa mabilis na refund kapag nakapagbayad na ang konsyumer.

Hindi rin aniya dapat putulin ang koneksyon ng tubig o kuryente kung kuwestiyonable ang singilin.
