Hindi na matutuloy ang bilateral meeting nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sa sideline ng ‘One belt, One road Forum for International Cooperation na ginaganap ngayon sa Beijing, China.

Paliwanag ni Foreign Affairs Executive Director Evangeline Ong-Ducrocq, walang available schedule para sa dalawang lider.

Interesadoa niya ang dalawang leader na magkita at matalakay ang mga usaping magpapalalim sa relasyon ng Pilipinas at Turkey.

Una nang sinabi ni Duterte sa Hong Kong na isa si Erdogan sa mga world leaders na nasa China na dumalo sa Belt and Road Forum na kanyang makakapulong maliban pa sa Prime Minister ng Mongolia at Chinese Premiere Li Kequiang at Chinese President Xi Jinping.
