METRO MANILA, Philippines — Tiniyak ng Malacañag na may mga ginagawang hakbang ang gobyerno para matiyak na magiging sapat ang suplay ng tubig ngayon tag-init.

Sinabi ni President Communication Office Undersecretary Claire Castro, na siya ring Malacañang press officer, na nananatiling sapat ang suplay ng tubig sa bansa at aniya nakatutok na ang gobyerno sa sitwasyon upang agad makakilos.

“Sa ngayon po, iyong pong water supply natin, the water supply remains significant despite change in the weather condition,” ani Castro.

Wala pa ring deklarasyon kaugnay sa pagpasok ng El Niño, na lubhang naramdaman noong nakaraang taon.

“As of now po, wala pa pong pagdeklara kung tayo po ay nasa El Niño na. So, as of now wala po tayong dapat alalahanin at kung mayroon man po at tayo naman po ay sanay na sanay na sa sobrang init po at tayo naman din po ay nakakaraos,” sabi pa ng opisyal.

Siniguro din ni Castro na nakahanda ang gobyerno na tugunan ang anumang epekto ng tag-init.
