METRO MANILA, Philippines — Binitbit ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco sa Senado ang Articles of Impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

Tinanggap ni Senate Secretary Renato Bantug sa kanyang opisina si Velasco at ang bitbit nitong bulto-bultong dokumento, kabilang ang listahan ng 215 na kongresista na pumirma sa impeachment complaint.

Nasa kalagitnaan ng sesyon sa Senado nang dumating si Velasco mula sa Kamara.

BASAHIN: Reklamo laban kay VP Duterte, security chief ibinasura

Ayon kay Velasco nabuo na ang 11-man team na magsisilbing trial prosecutors at maari din naman kumuha ang Kamara ng private prosecutors para tumulong sa pag-usig kay Duterte.

Inamin ni Velasco na tanghali nang maabot na ang kinakailangan na 102 na pirma para maipadala agad sa Senado ang impeachment complaint.
