METRO MANILA, Philippines — Nasa 27,000 pasahero ng 117 flights ang maaapéktuhan ng labindalawáng oras na shutdown ng centralized cooling system ng NAIA Terminal 3 simulâ bukas ng Martés hanggáng sa Miyerkules.
Itó ang abiso ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
Ang shutdown ay magsimula ng 9 p.m. ng Martés at matatapos ng 9 a.m. ng Miyerkulés.

Maglalagáy ng anim na bagong cooling tower at magkakabít din ng main piping lines sa chiller plant, na ikakabít namín sa bagong tower piping.
Ayon sa MIAA, tataás ang temperatura sa naturang terminal kayá maglalagáy itó stand-alone airconditioning units para maibsán ang init sa check-in counters, immigration departure, final security, baggage carousel areas, at sa arrival lobby.
Noóng nakaraáng Marso, tumaás ang temperatura sa NAIA Terminal 2 dahil sa pagbagsák ng suplay ng kuryente. Noóng sumunód na buwán namán, tatlo sa anim na cooling tower sa NAIA Terminal 3 ang bumagsák dahil sa “electricity overload.”
