Laguna judge pinatanggál ng SC dahil sa suweldo ng driver
METRO MANILA, Philippines — Inalís sa puwesto at binawian ng lisensya ng Korte Suprema ang isang babaeng hukóm sa Laguna dahil siyá ang kumukuha ng suweldo ng kanyáng dating driver.
Sa 42 na pahinang en banc decision, napatunayang guilty ng falsification of official documents, serious dishonesty, gross misconduct, at sa paglabag sa New Code of Judicial Conduct si Vice Executive Judge Sharon Alamada-Magayanes, ng Calamba City Municipal Trial Court Branch 3.
Sa imbestigasyón sa mga reklamo sa kanyá, inamin ni Alamada-Magayanes na pirmá niyá ang nairehistro sa payroll ng pamahalaáng lungsód ng Calamba.

Nabunyág na bagamát walá na sa serbisyo ang kanyáng contractual driver, kinukuha ng hukóm ang suweldo nitó na pumapasok sa automated teller machine (ATM) cash card mula Setyembre 2020 hanggang Hulyo 2021.
Nabatíd ng Radyo Inquirer na naglabás din ang hukóm ng mga pekeng certification kaugnáy sa suweldo ng kanyang staff.
Damay sa kaso si Clerk of Court II Rachel Worwar-Miguel at Court Stenographer II Beverly de Jesus. Silá ay pinagmultá na lamang ng P140,000 at P20,000 dahil sa pamemeke ng payroll.
