Hindi na ikinagulat ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang pagbaba ng kanyang approval rating.
Base kasi sa Pulse Asia survey, nasa 65 percent na lamang ang approval rating ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., noong Setyembre, mas mababa sa 80 percent na naitala noong Hunyo.
Sabi ni Pangulong Marcos, naiintindihan niya ang hinaing ng taong bayan dahil sa hirap ng buhay ngayon.
“It’s not surprising. People are having a hard time. ‘Yung bigas, ‘yang hirap… Bigas ito. Iba ang usapan pag bigas. It’s different from anything else, any other agricultural product. I completely understand it,” aniya.
Kayat sinabi nito na patuloy na pinagsusumikapan ng pamahalaan na ibaba ang presyo ng bigas.
“And that’s why we’re working very, very hard to make sure that this comes up again, not because of the survey. That’s not important to me. What’s important to me is that we make sure that people have enough to eat and that it is affordable to them,” sabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
Epektibo ngayong araw, binawi n ani Pangulong Marcos ang Executive Order 39 na nagtatakda sa presyo ng bigas.
“Kaya hindi mo masisi ang tao. Talagang naghihirap sila. That’s why we’re doing all of these things. That’s why we’re doing all of the things to try and maintain the prices at a level that is affordable to our people,” dagdag pa nito.
