Net income ng GSIS, pumalo sa P61 bilyon

 

Umabot sa P61 bilyon ang naging net income ng Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) mula Enero hanggang Hunyo ng taong kasalukuyan.

Mas mataas ito ng P3 bilyon kumpara sa kaparehong buwan noong nakaraang taon.

Ayon sa GSIS, lumakas ang profitability dahil sa malakas na revenue at pinaigting na revenue-to operating expense ratio.

Tumaas kasi ang administrative at operational expenses ng hanggang 10 percent dahil sa pagtaas ng claims at benefits.

“Although these expenses have grown, the rate of increase was slower,” pahayag ni GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso.

“A key factor in keeping expenses under control has been the careful management of operational costs,” dagdag ni Veloso.
