Sa inilabas na abiso ng Phivolcs ngayon alas-9 ng umaga, ibinahagi na nakapagtala ng pitong pagyanig sa 15 seismic stations sa Taal Volcano Network at karamihan ay nangyari sa Timog-Silangan ng Taal Volcano Island (TVI) pasado ala-6 kanina.
“Volcanic SO2 emissions in the past two weeks have been elevated, averaging 5,866 tons per day with a peak of 9,623 tons per day recorded on July 6, while upwelling of volcanic fluids in Taal Main Crater lake has been frequently detected. Electronic tilt stations have been recording inflation of the northern flank of TVI since May 2023,” ayon sa inilabas na abiso ng Phivolcs.
Ibinahagi din na sa tumindi din sa nakalipas na dalawang linggo ang pagbubuga ng sulfur dioxide (SO2) ng bulkan at ito ay naitala sa 5,866 tonelada kada araw at ang pinakamataas ay 9,623 tonelada.
Napuna din ang pagtaas ng volcanic fluids sa Taal Main Crater Lake.
“Should current low-level activity worsen or pronounced changes in monitored parameters forewarn of increasing unrest, the Alert Level may be raised to Alert Level 2,” sabi pa ng Phivolcs.
