Maglalabas si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ng isang magandang executive order para saa implementasyon ng Mandanas ruling.
Sabi ng Pangulo, ito ay para maging maayos ang koordinasyon ng local at national government.
“You are not working in a vacuum,” pahayag ng Pangulo sa 4th General Assembly ng League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) sa Clark, Pampanga.
“We are watching, we are asking, we are consulting with you. And in that way, we will come out with a good Executive Order at the end of the year for a good implementation of the very important Supreme Court decision now we call the Mandanas-Garcia ruling,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, niri-review na ng pamahalaan ang Executive Order No. 138 ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nagbibigay ng full devolution sa LGUs.
Pagtitiyak ng Pangulo, mananatiling bukas ang linya ng komunikasyon sa pagitan ng local officials at ehekutibo para sa palitan ng ideya.
“That is what we are trying to calibrate now – how do we do that so that the local governments are able to perform their functions and are able to provide the services to their constituents that are expected and that are mandated by the Local Government Code,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
