PAGUDPUD, ILOCOS NORTE—Naiintindihan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pagbibitiw ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa Lakas-CMD.
Ayon kay Pangulong Marcos, hindi maaring ma-involved si Duterte sa lahat ng bagay.
“Very simple, it’s exactly as she says. Alam mo naman si Inday Sara is very plain spoken. Kung ano yung sinabi niya, yun ang ibig sabihin niya. She has too much work to do. She cannot be involved in any of these. She cannot allow herself to be distracted. That’s the way I read it,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Naghain ng irrevocable resignation si Duterte sa Lakas-CMD nang hindi nagbibigay ng dahilan.
“It’s true because kung titignan mo kung ano yung hinaharap niya eh talagang marami talaga, hindi niya pwede, to be involved in whatever it is that is going on. She has to concentrate on her job at the secretary for the DepEd and now NTF-ELCAC. Marami talaga siyang gagawin so I can understand why sasabihin oh sige ayusin niyo muna yan, gagawin ko muna ‘tong importanteng kailangan kong tapusin,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
