EO para sa pagbuo ng Office of the Water Management pinirmahan na

Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. ang Executive Order na magtatatag sa Office of the Water Management. Sa talumpati ng Pangulo sa 6th Edition Water Philippine Conference and Exposition sa SMX Convention Center sa Pasay City, sinabi nito na seryoso ang problema sa suplay ng tubig sa bansa. “There are many agencies that are involved in water supply and water management and it has just evolved that way. But what we are going to try to do is to make it a more cohesive policy so that there’s planning at a national level and in that way we can maximize the management of what water we have, ” pahayag ng Pangulo. Sabi nito dapat na gamitin ang teknolohiya para magkaroon ng komprehensibong plano hindi lang sa National Capital Region kundi sa buong bansa. Sabi ng Pangulo, malaki ang ginagampanan ng tubig sa pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay ng tao. “And again I know that you are all experienced and committed to giving our people the fresh water supply that they need. And we’ll work together on that. It will not be the work of a day or of a week but we will start now and we will continue until it’s done,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
