Sa susunod na taon, prayoridad ng Senado ang mga panukala sa pagbuo ng National Center for Disease Prevention and Control gayundin ang kontrobersyal na Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF).
“In 2023, we foresee the Senate taking up the priority measures of the administration such as the establishment of the Virology Institute, Medical Reserve Corps, and the National Center for Disease Prevention and Control,” sabi ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva.
Dagdag pa niya; “The move for the condonation of agrarian reform payments, as well as the House bill on the Maharlika Investment Fund, are also on top of the legislative agenda.”
Sinabi pa ni Villanueva na magiging prayoridad din sa Senado ang mga panukalang-batas na prayoridad ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na maipasa.
Aniya ang pagbuo sa Virology Institute, Medical Reserve Corps, at National Center for Disease Prevention and Control ay kabilang sa 19 priority measures ng Pangulo.
Ibinahagi din nito na gagawing prayoridad din ang mga panukala na may kinalaman sa mga trabaho.
