Inatasan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang ibat ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaan na tulungan ang Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao na ngayon ay binabaha dahil sa Bagyong Paeng.
Ayon kay Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil, patuloy ang pagtatawag at pakikipag-ugnayan ni Pangulong Marcos sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan para masiguro na may sapat na puwersa na tutugon sa mga pangangailangan ng mga biktima ng bagyo.
“President Ferdinand Marcos has been in constant communication with different government agencies on the status of severe tropical storm “Paeng” to make sure that there is sufficient resource augmentation to support local government units in all affected areas,” pahayag ni Garafil.
Pinatitiyak ng Pangulo ang full support ang pamahalaan sa mga apektadong lugar.
“The President has instructed national government agencies to assist BARMM in its relief and rescue operations on the recent flooding in Maguindanao that claimed at least 67 people. The President wants to assure them of the full support of the government,” pahayag ni garafil.
