Welcome sa Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) ang pagkakatalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. kay Noli Eala bilang bagong chairman ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
Sinabi ni POC president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino na umaasa siyang makatrabaho si Eala.
“A wonderful choice by our President Bongbong Marcos because he [Noli Eala] is a sportsman himself and has been involved in sports for many decades,” saad nito.
Dagdag nito, “He surely knows the needs of athletes and coaches in all sports federations.”
Umaasa aniya siya na magkakaroon ng magandang ‘chemistry’ sa pagitan ng PSC at POC.
“I expect good chemistry between the PSC & the POC in achieving common goals for the best of the country. I wish him all the best,” ani Tolentino.
Inanunsiyo ang appointment ni Eala noong Martes ng gabi, Agosto 30.
