Gamit ang kaniyang Facebook page, kinumpirma ng mga anak ni Andaya na sina Ranton at Katrina ang pagpanaw nito.
“With deep grief and sadness, we announce the untimely death of our father, former member of the House of Representatives, Rolando ‘Nonoy’ G. Andaya, Jr., this morning, June 30, 2022,” saad sa post.
Hindi naman nabanggit nina Ranton at Katrina ang sanhi ng pagpanaw ng kanilang ama.
Dagdag nito, “We request for your fervent prayers for his eternal repose, and to allow us, his family, to grieve privately our loss.”
Maliban sa pagiging bilang kongresista, nagsilbi rin si Andaya bilang kalihim ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) matapos italaga ni dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo taong 2006.
