Nagpasalamat si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte sa Iglesia ni Cristo dahil sa pag-indorso sa kanyang kandidatura.
Ayon kay Belmonte, isang malaking karangalan na masuportahan ng maimpluwensyang INC.
“I am deeply grateful and honored to again receive the trust of the Iglesia ni Cristo, its Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Pangako ni Belmonte, hindi niya sasayangin ang boto at suporta ng INC.
“I will make sure not to waste that trust. If I am ever re-elected as mayor of Quezon City, you can hope that my service to the people will be in accordance with their needs and the teachings of the Creator,” dagdag ni Belmonote.
“Many thanks to the entire Brotherhood of Iglesia Ni Cristo!” ayon kay Belmonte.
Si Belmonte ay tumatakbong muli sa pagka-mayor ng Quezon City.
Ito na ang kanyang magiging ikalawang termino kung papalaring manalo.
