Ito ang ibinahagi ni NCRPO director, Police Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad at nagresulta din ang ikinasang 1,077 anti-dru operations sa pagkakahuli ng 2,010 katao.
Sinabi pa ni Natividad na tinutulungan nila ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa pagkasa ng Barangay Dug Clearing Program.
Ibinahagi ng opisyal na sa ngayon, 719 sa 1,709 barangays o 42.19 porsiyento ng kabuuang bilang sa buong Metro Manila ang idineklara ng ‘drug clear.’
“We have been in the headway of our campaign. We are getting closer to helping PDEA in the clearing of a number of barangays in anti-illegal drugs operations. In the days to come, we intend to strengthen our resolve and launch more operations in order to put an end to illegal drugs in NCR that are threatening the lives of our communities as the use of drugs contributes to other crimes perpetrated within the metropolis,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
