Nanawagan si Senator Christopher Go sa mga kandidato sa papalapit na eleksyon gayundin sa kanilang mga tagasuporta na tiyakin na magiging malinis, mapayapa at maayos ang kampaniya hanggang sa araw ng botohan.
Iginiit nito na kailangan ay masiguro na mananatiling sagrado ang mga balota kasabay nang paghikayat niya sa mga rehistradong botante na makibahagi sa demokratikong proseso.
Hinikayat niya ang publiko na agad isumbong ang anumang karahasan, dayaan at iba pang paglabag sa Election Code.
“As citizens, our biggest responsibility is to exercise our right to vote. When we vote, we give ourselves a chance for our voices to be heard by choosing leaders who not only share our ideals but who will also uplift the lives of our people and carry out our aspirations for our nation,” sabi pa nito.
Bilin din nito na kilatisin mabuti ang karakter ng mga kandidato, ang kanilang mga nagawa at kanilang mga nagawa.
“Let us remember that we must vote for leaders who cannot only unite the nation but also deliver on their promises. As such, we must thoroughly scrutinize their character, their priorities as well as their intentions on why they want to be the next leaders of our country,” dagdag pa ng senador.
