21 bundle ng ukay-ukay, nakumpiska sa Sorsogon

Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs-Port of Legazpi Customs Border Protection Team (BOC-CBPT) District V, katuwang ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) – Sorsogon, ang 21 bundles ng ukay-ukay sa Matnog Port, Sorsogon.

Nakuha ang ukay-ukay habang ibinabiyahe ng isang cargo bus.

Inilabas ang Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD) dahil sa paglabag sa Sections 118, 1113 at 1401 ng Republic Act 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), at Republic Acy 4653 o National Policy to Prohibit the Commercial Importation of Textile Articles Commonly Known as Used Clothing and Rags.

Tiniyak ng BOC Legazpi na patuloy nilang paiigtingin ang border protection upang maiwasan ang anumang uri ng customs fraud sa Bicol region.
