P5.024T election year budget program ipinadala na sa Kamara

Isinumite na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa Mababang Kapulungan ang 2022 National Expenditure Program (NEP) para sa hinihinihing P5.024 trillion national budget sa susunod na taon.

 

Kabuuang P773.6 bilyon ang hinihingi para sa education sector, kasama na ang DepEd, state colleges and universities at Commission on Higher Educaton (CHED), ang may pinakamataas na alokasyon.

 

Ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) naman ay hiningian ng P686.1 bilyon, P250.4 bilyon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

 

Samantala, ang Department of Health ay popondohan ng P242 bilyon.

 

Ang nasa Top 10 din sa alokasyon sa budget ay ang Department of National Defense (P222.0 billion), Department of Social Welfare and Development (P191.4 billion), Department of Transportation (P151.3 billion), Department of Agriculture (P103.5 billion), Judiciary (P45.0 billion), at  Department of Labor and Employment (P44.9 billion).

 

Ang proposed budget sa susunod na taon ay mataas ng 11.5 porsiyento kumpara sa 2021 national budget na P4.5 trilyon.
