Publiko, binalaan ng FDA ukol sa Kirkland Signature Vit. C

Nagbabala ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa publiko hinggil sa pagbili ng Kirkland Signature Vitamin C 1,000 mg Tablet.

Ayon sa FDA, sa pamamagitan ng post-marketing surveillance activities, natuklasang hindi dumaan sa registration process ang naturang produkto at walang Product Notification Certificate.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9711 o Food and Drugs Administration Act of 2009, bawal ang pag-manufacture, importation, exportation, pagbebenta, distribution, transfer, non-consumer use, promotion, advertising o sponsorship ng health product nang walang proper authorization mula sa ahensya.

“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute, advertise, or sell the said violative medical device until the Product Notification Certificate is issued,” pahayag pa nito.

Hiniling ng ahensya sa lahat ng local government unit at law enforcement agencies na siguraduhing hindi naibebenta sa merkado ang naturang bitamina.

Maaaring i-report ang pagbebenta ng mga hindi rehistradong produkto sa pamamagitan ng pagpapadala ng email sa ereport@fda.gov.ph.
