Ipinag-utos ni Philippine National Police (PNP), Police General Guillermo Eleazar sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at Anti-Cybercrime group na rebyuhin ang mga kasong isinampa laban sa isang negosyante ukol sa umano’y pagbebenta ng vaccination slot.
“It is in this regard that I ordered both the Directors of the CIDG and the ACG to review the cases that were field against her before the Mandaluyong Prosecutor’s Office in order to check if there were lapses in the conduct of investigation and in the preparation of the cases,” pahayag ng PNP Chief.
Sinabi ni Eleazar na nakita niya ang mga pahayag sa social media at television interview ni Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera.
Inireklamo kasi ni Dizon-Cabrera ang pagkakadawit niya sa kasong estafa laban sa umano’y vaccine slot sellers na sina Cyle Cedric Bonifacio at Melvin Gutierrez.
Si Dizon-Cabrera, maging sina Bonifacio at Gutierrez ay sinampahan ng kasong estafa at paglabag sa Anti-Red Tape Law of 2007 at Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
Iginiit ng negosyante na isa siyang whistleblower at agad niyang iniulat ang ilegal na aktibidad sa mga awtoridad.
Tiniyak naman ng hepe ng PNP kay Dizon-Cabrera na personal niyang tututukan ang magiging progreso nito.
“I assure Ms. Dizon-Cabrera that I will personally monitor the progress of my order – and to correct if there are things that need correcting in the interest of truth and justice regarding this ‘vaccine/vaccine slot for sale’ controversy,” ani Eleazar.
