Noong taong 2015, umabot sa 1.2 million direct jobs at US$ 22 billion na revenues ang nalikha ng nasabing industriya.
Ayon sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) kung magpapatuloy ang mataas na growth rate ng IT-BPM industry, mahihigitan na nito ang ambag ng remittances ng mga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) sa taong 2017.
Kung mangyayari ito, hindi na kinakailangang umalis ng bansa ng mga Pinoy para maitaguyod ang kanilang pamilya, dahil dadami ang oportunidad ng trabaho sa bansa sa industriya ng IT at BPO.
Kamakailangan ay isinagawa ang 10th International ICT Awards, kung saan nagkaloob ng “Most Popular Team Leader of the Year” sa ICT Industry category.
Maliban sa Best Employer of the Year Award at Most Popular Team Leader of the Year, kinilala din ang iba’t ibang kumpanya sa kanilang kontribusyon sa industriya.
