Nakuha ni Andrea Meza ng Mexico ang 69th Miss Universe crown.
Tinalo niya ang 73 pang kandidato para sa ‘Power of Unity’ Crown.
Sa question and answer round, tinanong si Meza ni Miss Universe 1997 brook Lee kung siya ang namumuno sa Mexico anong diskarte ang gagawin niya sa pagharap sa COVID 19 pandemic.
“I believe there’s not a perfect way to handle this hard situation such as COVID-19. However, I believe that what I would’ve done was [to] create the lockdown even before everything was that big. Because we lost so many lives and we cannot afford that. We have to take care of our people. That’s why I would’ve taken care of them since the beginning,” ang sagot ni Meza.
Ang mga runners-up naman ay sina Julia Gama ng Brazil; Janick Maceta ng Peru; Adline Castelino ng India at Kimberly Jimenez ng Dominican Republic.
Samantala, ang pambato ng Pilipinas, si Rabiya Mateo ay napasama naman sa Top 21
Iginawad naman kay Miss Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin ang ‘Best in National Costume’ title.
