Nai-turnover na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang 54-bed capacity quarantine facility sa Bislig, Surigao Del Sur.
Ayon kay Secretary Mark Villar, base sa ulat mula kay Surigao Del Sur Second District Engineer Noel Oclarit, ang pasilidad ay three-unit building; Building A bilang staff house, kitchen at dining area; Building B para sa mga lalaking pasyente, at Building C para sa mga babaeng pasyente.
Itinutulak ng kalihim, bilang isolation czar, ang mabilis na pagyatayo ng isolation facilities sa buong bansa bilang bahagi ng paglaban sa COVID-19.
“The facility will meet the demands for healthcare utilization and provide comfort and security for patients while on recovery from the COVID-19 virus”, pahayag ni Secretary Villar.
Ang pasilidad ay may 13 air-conditioning units, 16 closed circuit television components, isang cistern tank, limang solar LED street lights, apat na flood lights at furnishings.
