Sinabi ng kagawaran na nasa ikalawang pwesto ang Boracay habang nasa ika-siyam naman ang Palawan.
Nagpasalamat si Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat sa mga turista na bumoto sa naturang destinasyon.
“We draw inspiration from this warm reception and solid vote of confidence from our satisfied patrons,” pahayag ni Romulo-Puyat.
Dagdag pa nito, “As our destinations gradually reopen with health and safety measures in place, we will continue our conservation and protection efforts of these areas.”
Kapwa bukas ang Boracay at El Nido para sa domestic tourists na magmumula sa mga lugar na nakasailalim sa GCQ and MGCQ.
Mahigpit ding ipinatutupad ang health and safety protocols sa dalawang destinasyon.
