Multi-year bypass road project sa Roxas, Isabela nakumpleto na

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang konstruksyon sa 4.9 kilometer bypass road project sa Roxas, Isabela.

Layon nitong makapagbigay ng mas maayos na access sa mga commuter, magsasaka, at trader sa mga barangay at munisipalidad sa lugar.

Ayon kay Secretary Mark Villar, natapos ng DPWH Isabela 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) ang implementasyon ng first, second, at third phases ng P271-million multi-year project.

Kabilang dito ang pagtatayo ng 4.44-kilometer dalawang inner lanes road at Baramban Bridge 2 na 18 lineal-meters, na may drainage structures at concrete box culvert provision.

Target na magamit ang bypass road bilang alternatibong ruta ng commuters at makapagbigay ng dagdag na kapasidad sa ilang sasakyan upang maiwasan ang traffic congestion.

“Easing the transportation between communities in the area will allow for a faster and more convenient means of delivering goods, expanding economic activity and livelihood particularly in the agricultural sector, which was heavily affected by recent calamities that hit Isabela,” pahayag ni Villar
