Ito ay kahit na sino man ang manalo sa pagitan nina US President Donald Trump at dating US Vice President Joe Biden kung saan ginaganap ngayon ang eleksyon sa Amerika.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, mananatiling mainit ang relasyon ng bansa kahit na sino pa man ang mahalal na presidente.
Madali naman aniya si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na makapag establish ng pakikipagkaibigan kahit kanino man.
Kasabay nito, sinabi ng Palasyo na “may the best man win” kina Trump at Biden.
“You see the state dept ensures continuity as far as US foreign policy is concerned. So we dont expect any major changes in bilateral relations between the PH and the United Stats. Of course, there is an issue of personal relations but I think given time the President can establish an equally warm perosnal relations with whoever wins this elections even it’s not President Trump. All the President needed maybe was a year or two and he was able to foster personal friendship with President Trump. And even if there is a new President, I am not saying that there will be, but in case there is a new President in the United States in the person of Senator Biden, I am confident that the President can also develop close personal friendship with Mr Biden.
