Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), naitala ang nasabing bilang ng mga napauwing OFW hanggang June 7.
Sa 25,747 OFWs, 7,483 ay naihatid sa pamamagitan ng land transport at 12,641 naman ang air transport simula May 25 hanggang June 7.
Samantala, 5,623 OFWs naman ang nakauwi via sea transport mula April 27 hanggang June 7.
Sa pagitan ng nasabing petsa, walang naging biyahe sa June 1 at 3.
Pinangunahan ng DOTr ang naturang programa katuwang ang Office of the President, National Task Force Covid-19, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Tourism (DOT), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Inaasahang patuloy pa rin ang pagpapauwi sa mga OFW na nakatapos na ng quarantine at nagnegatibo sa COVID-19 sa mga susunod na araw.
