Pagtatag ng Pharmaceutical Development Center, Virology Science and Technology Institute of the Philippines rerebyuhin ni Duterte

Rerebyuhin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng Department of Science and Technology na magtatag na ng Pharmaceutical Development Center at Virology Science and Technology Institute of the Philippines nang inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Infectious Diseases.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, sakaling maaprubahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng DOST, maari nang makapag-umpisa ang dalawa sa loob ng taong 2020.

“If and once approved by PRRD, both can start in 2020, with the Pharmaceutical Group and the Virology Research Group evolving out of DOST’s Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI),” pahayag ni Roque.

“We understand that the DOST has included the establishment of the aforesaid research centers in its 2021 Budget Proposal,” dagdag ni Roque.
