As we have said, the Executive Branch has and will always bow down to the majesty of the law, and it will not think twice in doing the same for this particular case”, pahayag ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.
Ayon Panelo, welcome din sa palasyo ang pagpapasya ng korte nang katigan nito ang validity ng proklamasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nagpapawalang bisa sa amnestiya ni Trillanes.
Sa ngayon, wala pang natatanggap na kopya ang Office of the President sa desisyon ng korte.
Dagdag pa ng opisyal, “The ruling of the court already suggests that this case is unique. Insofar as we are concerned”.
Hahayaan na rin aniya ng palasyo ang Office of the Solicitor General at Department of Justice na magpasya sa kung ano ang susunod na hakbang sa kaso ni Trillanes.
“Accordingly, we will leave it to these offices to evaluate the available remedies, as well as to determine which steps may be endeavored, before the appropriate courts of law”, dagdag pa ng tagapagsalita ng pangulo.
