P6.4-B drug case na dinismiss ng Valenzuela RTC, isinampa naman ng DOJ sa Maynila

Inilipat na ng Department of Justice (DOJ) sa Manila RTC ang kasong unang isinampa sa Valenzuela RTC kaugnay ng nasabat na 6.4 bilyong pisong shabu shipment mula sa China.

Kabilang sa inilipat na kaso ang paglabag sa section 4 at section 26 ng Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) na unang dinismis ng Valenzuela RTC dahil sa kawalan nito ng hurisdiksyon.

Kasama sa kinasuhan ang umanoy customs fixer na si Mark Ruben Taguba II, Philippine Hongfei Logistics Group of Companies Inc. chairman Chen Ju Long, alyas Richard Tan o Richard Chen; Li Guang Feng alyas Manny Li, negosyanteng si Dong Yi Shen Xi alyas Kenneth Dong; Eirene Mae Tatad- may ari ng EMT Trading na consignee ng drug shipment; customs broker Teejay Marcellana; Taiwanese nationals na sina Chen I-Min at Jhu Ming Jyun; Chen Rong Huan ng Hongfei at tatlong John Doe.

Una rito, iginiit ng DOJ na pinangatawanan na ng Valenzuela RTC ang hurisdiksyon sa kaso nang magsagawa ito ng occular inspection sa nasabat na shabu.

Pero noong nakaraang Martes, pinandigan ni Judge Maria Nena Santos ng Valenzuela City RTC Branch 171 na ibasura ang kaso dahil sa technicality issue.
