Number coding scheme, suspendido bukas
Sinuspinde ng Metro Manila Development Authority ang number coding sa lahat ng sasakyan bukas, January 24, araw ng Miyerkules.
Ayon sa abiso ng MMDA, ito’y dahil sa ikakasang tigil-pasada ng grupong Piston at No To Jeepney Phaseout Coalition.
Ayon sa MMDA, sakop nito ang lahat ng lungsod sa Metro Manila, bukod sa Makati City at Las Pinas City.
Layunin nito na maibsan ang problema ng mga commuters sa naka-ambang transport strike ng mga jeep.
Ikakasa ang mga kilos-protesta dahil pa rin sa plano ng gubyerno na i-modernize ang mga pampublikong sasakyan.
