Mga haharang sa bagong telecom firm na papasok sa bansa binalaan ni Duterte
“Huwag kayong makialam”.
Ito ang matapang na babala ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga korte sakaling makialam sa pagpasok ng ikatlong player sa telecommunications industry ng bansa na magmumula naman sa bansang China.
“I do not want the courts to interfere and prolong this process. Do not issue any TROs or injunctions. This is a matter of national interest for the benefit of the public”, dagdag pa ng pangulo.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, mahigpit na binabalaan ng pangulo ang mga korte laban sa pagpapalabas ng mga Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) o injunctions kapag pumasok na sa bansa ang third player sa telcos industry.
Nais ng pangulo na maging fully operational na ang bagong telecom firm sa unang quarter ng 2017.
Ayon kay Roque, national interest ang batayan sa pagpasok ng third player sa telecommunication industry dahil makikinabang dito ang publiko.
Gayunman, malinaw na nakasaad sa batas na hindi maaring pakialaman ng sangay ng ehekutibo ang mga gawain ng hudikatura gaya ng mga korte.
