Umano’y myembro ng ASG na nahaharap sa kasong murder, arestado sa QC
Arestado ang hinihinalang myembro ng Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) na nahaharap sa kasong murder sa Quezon City.
Natimbog ng pulisya si Abdulmuin Yahiya sa operasyon ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Special Operations Unit, National Interlligence Coordinating Agency at Naval Intelligence and Security Group ng Philippine Navy.
Ayon kay QCPD Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, nakatira si Yahiya alyas Mauhmin Yahya at Jayson sa Salaam Compound sa Barangay Culiat sa nakalipas na tatlong taon. Aniya, nagtrabaho ang suspek bilang volunteer para mapanatili ang kapayapaan sa lugar.
Isinilbi ng mga otoridad ang arrest warrant dakong alas-10:00 ng umaga ng Biyernes. Ang arrest warrant ay inihain ni Judge Leo Jay Principe ng Basilan Regional Trial Court Branch 1 sa Isabela City noong August 2006.
Ayon kay Eleazar, inamin ng suspek ang pagkakaugnay sa ASG kung saan nagtrabaho siya bilang courier.
Dagdag ni Eleazar, lingid sa kaalaman ng mga residente sa Salaam Compound na may arrest warrant si Yahya.
