Termino ni Bato, palalawigin pa ni Pang. Duterte ng 2-3 buwan
Palalawigin pa ni Pang. Rodrigo Duterte ang termino ni Philippine National Police Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa.
Ayon sa Pangulo, posibleng i-extend pa niya ang serbisyo ni Dela Rosa ng dalawa hanggang tatlong buwan matapos ang kanyang nakatakda sanang pagre-retiro sa January 2018.
“I have the discretion to extend even beyond retirement age. Marami pa kasi akong gawin. I want to do some things in Mindanao of utmost importance and I need to extend the tour of duty of Gen. Dela Rosa to something like two to three months,”ayon kay Duterte.
Paliwanag ng Pangulo, kailangan niya ang serbisyo ni Bato upang punan ang mga pangangailangan sa Mindanao.
Una na rito, inihayag ng Pangulong Duterte na matapos ang termino ni Dela Rosa bilang hepe ng PNP, kanya naman itong itatalaga bilang hepe ng Bureau of Corrections.
Sinabi naman ng PNP Chief na malugod niyang tinanggap ang alok na pwesto sa kanya ng Pangulo na pamunuan ang BuCor, at hindi niya ito tatanggihan dahil ‘forever boss’ niya si Duterte.
Nilinaw naman ng Pangulo na wala pa siyang napipisil na pumalit sa pwesto ni Bato.
“Wala pa. I usually do not interfere. I don’t know. They have a sort of an entity wherein the PNP is tasked with reviewing the senior officers’ promotion parang board of generals,” ayon kay Duterte.
