Sen. Grace Poe gusto ni Duterte na maging pangulo ng bansa
Mistulang inindorso ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Senador Grace Poe na maging susunod na pangulo ng Pilipinas.
Sa talumpati kagabi ng pangulo sa birthday celebration ni PAGCOR Chief Operating Officer Atty. Alfredo Lim sa Dasmariñas Cavite, sinabi nito na mahal niya ang senadora at gusto niya ang pagkatao ni Poe dahil sa very good natured, gentle lady at pagiging totoong public servant.
Giit ng pangulo, wala siyang problema kay Poe.
Gayunman, sinabi ng pangulo na kinakailangan munang baguhin o amyendahan ang konstitusyon sa pagtatakda ng mga kwalipikasyon sa mga magiging pangulo ng bansa.
“But I like Grace Poe to be President someday if the requirement remains to be same. But, I said, I think we will amend the Constitution and make that exemption, na ‘yung foundling are already qualified”, dagdag pa ng pangulo.
Nakasaad sa Saligang Batas na kinakailangan na isang natural born Filipino citizen ang isang pangulo.
Pero base sa desisyon ng Korte Supreme, isang foundling si Poe matapos hindi matukoy ang kanyang mga magulang.
Matatandaang noong 2016 presidential elections, natalo ni Duterte si Poe sa pagkapangulo ng bansa.
