ASEAN lane barriers sa EDSA, tinanggal na

Inalis na ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang ASEAN lane barriers sa kahabaan ng EDSA.

Ayon sa MMDA, inaprubahan ni Department of Interior and Local Government Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Catalino S. Cuy ang pagbaklas na sa barriers.

Si Cuy ay siya ring chairman ng Committee on Security, Peace and Order, Emergency Preparedness and Response.

Maging si ASEAN Security Task Force Commander Police Director Napoleon ‘Nap’ Taas ay inaprubahan ang pag-alis na sa ASEAN lane.

Isinagawa ang pagbabaklas sa northbound lane ng EDSA mula sa bahagi ng EDSA Magallanes hanggang sa EDSA Santolan.

Nanatili namang maluwag ang daloy ng traffic sa EDSA ngayong Miyerkules na huling araw ng idineklarang special non-working holiday ng pamahalaan sa Metro Manila, Bulacan at Pampanga.

Kasama ring binuksan na sa mga motorista ang Roxas Boulevard mula Padre Burgos Avenue hanggang Buendia Avenue sa Maynila.
