Mga tarpaulin na mali ang spelling ng “Philippines” pinababaklas na

Ipinag-utos ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) ang pagbaklas sa mga tarpaulin o billboard sa Roxas Boulevard na mali ang spelling ng “Philippines.”

Ito ay makaraang mag-viral sa social media ang larawan ng mga tarpaulin kung saan may nakasulat na “Welcome to the Philppines,” o kulang ng letrang “i” ang spelling ng pangalan ng bansa.

Ayon kay PCOO Assistant Secretary Kristian Ablan, ang nasabing mga tarpaulin na para sana sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit ay hindi aprubado ng National Coordinating Committee.

Partikular na tinukoy ni Ablan na hindi pa naaprubahan ay ang mga tarpaulin at billboards sa lugar na patung ng MOA (SM Mall of Asia) Complex.

Ani Ablan, pinatatanggal na ang nasabing mga tarpaulin sa lalong madaling panahon.

Paliwanag ni Ablan, aminado naman ang Department of Interior and Local Government-National Capital Region na sila ang naglabas at nagkabit ng mga tarpaulin.
