Libu-libong pasahero, stranded sa mga pantalan sa Bicol at Southern Tagalog

Stranded ang ilang pasahero sa mga pantalan sa Bicol at Southern Tagalog bunsod ng patuloy ng pag-ulan dulot ng Bagyong Salome.

Ayon kay Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commander Armand Balilo, as of 12:00 noon aabot sa 1,660 na pasahero ang apektado ng suspensyon ng ilang biyahe sa mga naturang lugar.

Nasa 678 na mga pasahero dito ang stranded sa Bicol at 982 na mga pasahero naman sa Southern Tagalog.

Kabilang sa mga apektadong biyahe ang 521 rolling cargoes, 45 vessels at 28 motorbancas.

Inabusihan naman ang lahat ng PCG units sa istriktong pag-iimplementa ng HPCG Memorandum Circular No. 02-13 o Guidelines on Movement of Vessels during Heavy Weather.
