Gun ban, ipatutupad ng 15 araw kaugnay ng ASEAN Summit

Ipatutupad ng Philippine National Police ang gun ban sa loob ng 15 araw sa National Capital Region (NCR), Central Luzon at Calabarzon.

Ang hakbang na ito ay para tiyakin ang seguridad sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Related Meetings na gaganapin ngayong buwan.

Mula November 1 hanggang 15, suspendido ang permit to carry firearms.

Ipinagbabawal ang pagdadala ng armas sa labas ng bahay.

Ayon kay Chief Supt. Valeriano De Leon of the PNP Firearms and Explosives Office, inaprubahan ni PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa ang mungkahing ito NCRPO.

Sinabi ni De Leon na mahigpit nilang ipatutupad ito, lalo na kapag dumating na sa Pilipinas ang mga pinuno ng ibang mga bansa.

Dagdag ng opisyal, ang maaari lamang magbitbit ng kanilang mga armas ay ang mga law enforcers na nakasuot ng kumpletong uniporme.
