Dalawang dagdag na lanes sa Quezon Ave., bubuksan na

Bubuksan na ng Department of Public Works and Highways ang mas pinaganda at pinaluwag na kalsada ng Quezon Avenue mula Elliptical Road hanggang Agham Road sa Quezon City.

Pinangunahan nina DPWH Sec. Mark Villar at NEDA Sec. Ernesto Pernia ang inagurasyon sa 62-milyung pisong proyekto.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay nagdagdag ng dalawang linya sa dating apat na linyang westbound lane ng Quezon Ave.
Bukod sa benepisyo nito sa daloy ng trapiko, makatutulong rin ito sa pagpigil ng baha dahil pinatibay nito ang concrete box culvert ng lansangan.

Palalakihin nito ang kapasidad ng tangque creek ng mahigit isang daang porsyento na ngayon ay may sukat nang 5.3 x 3 meters.

Ang dalawang karagdagang lane ay maaaring makapag-accomodate ng 164 jeeps, 427 na pribadong sasakyan at mahigit na 300 motorsiklo kada oras tuwing rush hour.
