Palasyo, nagpaabot ng pakikiramay sa mga pamilya ng NY terror attack victims
Ipinaaabot ng Malacañang ang pakikiramay nito sa mga pamilya ng mga biktima ng malagim na terror attack sa Manhattan, New York City.
Inilabas ang pahayag ng Palasyo nitong Miyerkules matapos makumpirmang walang nadamay na Filipino sa insidente.
“We express our deep sympathies to the families and friends of the innocent victims killed in a truck attack on a New York bike path,” bahagi ng pahayag ni Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Martin Andanar.
Ayon pa kay Andanar, mahigpit pa ring minomonitor ng Philippine Consulate General sa New York ang sitwasyon doon.
Inabisuhan din ang mga Filipino na manatiling kalmado at maging mapagmatyag.
Miyerkules ng umaga ng isang trak ang sumagasa sa mga pedestrians at ilang bicycle riders sa naturang lugar.
Walo ang namatay at 11 ang sugatan sa insidente ng pag-atake.
