Fr. Chito Suganob, hindi na muna pababalikin ng Mindanao

Naghahanap na si Marawi Bishop Edwin Dela Peña ng obispo na pansamantalang mag-aadopt kay Father Chito Suganob, ang paring binihag ng teroristang Maute group.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer, sinabi ni Bishop Dela Peña, sa labas na muna ng Mindanao Region itatalaga si Suganob.

Dagdag ni Dela Peña, bibigyan niya muna ng dalawa hanggang limang taon ang pari na makapagpahinga at magpagaling.

Matinding trauma aniya ang naranasan ni Father Chito mula sa kamay ng mga terorista.

Kung ibabalik aniya si Father Chito sa kaniyang dating tungkulin tiyak na mabubuksan lamang nito ang mga sugat at masamang alaala sa kamay ng teroristang Maute.

Hindi rin aniya beneficial sa pari at maging sa simbahan kung babalik pa si Father Chito sa dati niyang tungkulin.

Bago nabihag, si Father Chito ang chaplain ng Mindanao State University at rector ng Marawi Cathedral.

Gayunman sinabi ni Dela Peña na kung sakaling magpapasya si Father Chito na bumalik sa Mindanao Region ay welcome naman ang pari.
