Luzon grid, isinailalim sa yellow alert

Isinailalim ng National Grid Gorporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang Luzon grid sa yellow alert.
Mula alas 10:00 ng umaga hanggang alas 4:00 ng hapon ng Biyernes, Sept. 22, nasa yellow alert ang Luzon grid dahil sa mababang reserba sa kuryente.
Ayon sa NGCP, 10,256 megawatts lamang ang available na capacity sa Luzon grid gayung umaabot sa 9,552 megawatts ang peak demand sa kuryente.
Ang mababang reserba sa kuryente ay dahil sa hindi inaasahang shutdown o limitadong power output ng ilang power plants.
