Calayan, Cagayan, niyanig ng magnitude 5.1 na lindol

(3rd update) Niyanig ng magnitude 5.1 na lindol ang bayan ng Calayan sa lalawigan ng Cagayan.

Naitala ang pagyanig alas 6:08 ng umaga sa 37 kilometers North ng Calayan.

May lalim na 30 kilometers ang lindol at tectonic ang origin.

Dahil sa nasabing lindol, naitala ng Phivolcs ang sumusunod na Intensities:

  • Intensity IV – Calayan & Santa Paxedes, Cagayan; Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte
  • Intensity III – Sanchez Mira, Cagayan; Dumalneg & Baruyan, Ilocos Norte
  • Intensity II – Laoag City; Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte; Luna, Sta. Marcela & Flora, Apayao
  • Intensity I – Peñablanca, Cagayan

Ayon sa Phivolcs, maaring magdulot ng afterschocks ang nasabing pagyanig.
